Mathieu Debuchy has joined Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne in a permanent move.
The 32-year-old right back signed for us from Newcastle United in 2014, and made a total of 29 appearances for the club.
Mathieu represented France at Euro 2012 and the 2014 World Cup, having proven himself as one of Ligue 1’s best right backs during a 10-year stint with Lille.
We’d like to wish Mathieu all the best for his return to France.
