William Saliba made his return from injury as a late substitute during Saint-Etienne’s 1-0 win away at Nimes.
Former Gunner Mathieu Debuchy scored the game’s only goal, with Saliba replacing Arnaud Nordin in the 89th minute.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan claimed an assist as Roma won 1-0 away at Lecce. Edin Dzeko’s 56th-minute header sealed the three points, with Micki providing a perfect cross from the right flank.
Eddie Nketiah was a half-time substitute as Leeds lost 1-0 at Charlton. Macauley Bonne gave the hosts the lead after 32 minutes and despite Nketiah’s introduction at the start of the second half, Leeds were unable to find a way back into the game.
Ben Sheaf played the entirety of Doncaster’s 1-1 draw at Coventry. Ben Whiteman gave Doncaster a first-half lead, but Amadou Bakayoko’s 89th-minute strike meant the points were shared.
Deyan Iliev played the full 90 minutes as Sered drew 1-1 at home to Trencin. Keston Julien scored the opener for the visitors during the first half, before Djibi Ba’s leveller in the second half.
Jordi Osei-Tutu was an unused substitute in Bochum’s 2-2 home draw with Darmstadt. Silvere Ganvoula’s early penalty gave Bochum the lead, before Immanuel Hohn’s equaliser. Ganvoula then scored again, before Marcel Heller made it 2-2.
