Full list of academy players on international duty

A number of our academy players have been selected for their nations at youth level during this current international break

Reuell Walters has been called up for England's Elite League campaign which begins against Romania in Bucharest on Thursday before they take on Portugal in Milton Keynes the following Tuesday. The under-20s are in a league alongside Romania, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands who they'll face across the rest of the season.

As for England under-19s, Lino Sousa has been included in their squad for the qualifying round of the U19 European Championships and will travel to the DG Arena in Podgorica, Montenegro to take on the hosts, Wales, and Austria.

Lino will come up against Omari Benjamin when he faces the Welsh, after the striker was included in his nation's squad for fixtures against the same opponents. Wales start against Austria and then play England the following Saturday before finishing against Montenegro. The top two in the group qualify for the Elite round of qualifying.

Michal Rosiak will also be hoping to make it to the finals in Northern Ireland next summer as part of the Poland under-19 squad. They will be coming up against North Macedonia, Kazakhstan and Germany over the coming 10 days. Meanwhile, Maldini Kacurri has linked up with Albania’s under-19s to take on Turkey in a friendly during the international window.

At under-17 level, Chido Obi is part of Denmark's squad to take on Lithuania, Georgia and Austria in qualifying for the U17s Euros.

Meanwhile, two of our current loanees have been selected for England under-21s. Brooke Norton-Cuffy and Charlie Patino, who are currently playing in the Championship for Millwall and Swansea City respectively, have been called up for the U21 European qualifiers against Serbia and Ukraine.
